Kinda weird that yesterday during my walk, I had his songs stuck in my head.

          RIP Glen.

Wichita Lineman, Rhinestone Cowboy and Galveston are all good tunes. The songwriter, Jimmy Webb, who wrote Wichita Lineman, Galveston, McArthur Park and many others, just completed an autobiography. A good read.

The chorus of the Rhinestone Cowboy video looks like it would fit in Happy Gilmore's dream sequence....

Has no one mentioned Don Baylor and Darren Daulton?

                      Are they "people"?

You're probably old enough to remember Don Baylor. I think he still holds the record for number of times hit by a pitch. Dutch Daulton was a hard nosed sumbitch too.

Biggio broke it later, and Baylor broke Ron Hunt's record. Hunt held it a while, trivia from my old baseball cards. His brother Mike never broke into the league.

As an employee of the Paducah Western Sizzlin', my wife fell victim to a prank call and paged Mr. Hunt, on a Sunday afternoon no less. She still recalls the manager sprinting from the kitchen, waiving his arms wildly.
