Are those of you whose wife or kids heard different from you, listening at the same time or not?

Same time. Multiple times and she didn't know what words to listen for

I heard Laurel when my wife's phone was in front of my face. When she played it for the kids in the other room, I heard Yanny. She then played it for me again with the phone in my face, and I again heard Laurel.

The Laurel voice sounds deeper and male. The Yanny voice sounds higher pitched and female.

Just asked a guy at work who didn't know what to listen for, he heard Larry.

I played it at our morning meeting for everybody at the same time and told them to write down what they heard, without telling them what to listen for. Over half heard "Yanny" and the rest of us heard "Laurel".

I heard that a couple of times, too, then it converted over to straight Laurel.

You mean you haven't learned to tune the high pitched female out yet?
