      Tennessee 15, Alabama 5. That's a football score.

"However, UT doesn’t need an Alabama comparison to feel good about what’s going on in recruiting.". Wasn't the whole article about this?

Jordan Davis, a 4-star outside linebacker from Memphis, Tenn., is locked in with his commitment to Alabama despite several schools trying to flip him.

Hey Bamaholic....thanks for posting those recruiting articles. You gotta love what the LB recruit says about competing. Also glad to see another guy coming out of Memphis. Remember when Kiff & Oregeron were going to 'lock down' Memphis for UT.

Today, they would lock Kiffin up in Memphis.

Asa Martin, a 4-star running back from Austin High School, is considered to be Alabama's top target at the position in the 2018 class.

                    Camp notes from SECCOUNTRY

Alabama concluded its final day of camp on Tuesday:
                    • Slade Bolden, the nation’s No. 16 all-purpose back, visited Tuscaloosa for camp and left with a committable offer. When Bolden released his top three of Alabama, LSU and TCU a few weeks ago, I called it another “hat on the table” situation. He didn’t have a committable offer at the time he released his top three, but Bolden performed at such a high level in Tuscaloosa that offensive coordinator Brian Daboll compared his game to New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman. That’s high praise. SEC Country was told that Bolden’s mother loved everything about the visit and her son is also being considered for the baseball team at Alabama, which works in the Tide’s favor. Bolden is now one to watch closely moving forward.
                    • Joseph Scates, a 4-star wide receiver from Ohio, de-committed from Michigan State in February two days after picking up an Alabama offer. He visited Tuscaloosa once again for camp, but he didn’t do enough to jump up the wide receiver board. He still doesn’t have a committable offer.
                    • LSU defensive back commit Nadab Joseph surprisingly showed up in Tuscaloosa for camp. Alabama should feel very good with where it stands for Joseph.

from Alabama 247:Alabama has landed its first offensive lineman for the 2018 class in four-star tackle Tommy Brown, as the Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei product has committed to the Crimson Tide. Nick Saban offered Brown last month in what was clearly a pivotal moment in his recruitment. The 6-foot-6.5, 313-pounder’s father, Vince, threw shot put for Alabama in the 1980s, setting the Tide apart from others as far as coveted offers. “It is a dream offer,” Brown told BamaOnLine last month. “It’s been one I’ve grown up watching, and it’s always been a goal to get that Alabama offer.” Brown chose the Tide over several other programs, most notably Oregon, the second-place finisher on the Crystal Ball, during his return visit for the Champions Cookout. The Tide legacy is rated the No. 12 offensive tackle and the No. 169 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. Alabama was the Crystal Ball favorite at the time of his commitment.

Seth Williams, a 4-star wide receiver from the Tuscaloosa area, is trending toward Auburn and not Alabama, which was his favorite school growing up.
