    - We need a QB that can throw in order to win again solid run defenses.(AND BTW, he can run against teams with good pass defenses)

    Sounds simple right?
To your first point, all I'm saying is that I'm not certain that the good is always going to outweigh the bad. For the record, this isn't some rant on Tua. I have never been a Brett Favre fan either. I'm anti-turnover in general.

The 1 thing that I think is hard to argue, is that just having Tua taking snaps should help the run game. It got to the point last year where the D literally had no respect for our intermediate/deep passing game. So IMO Tua playing is not about the air raid/chance taking style of play as much as having a super productive and efficient running game.... That isn't based on scrambling yards.

No. We should look at the good and bad of both. And if you do that objectively, it's obvious the we are much better with Tua playing QB.

I have not once argued Tua shouldn't be starting. I just want people to understand that there are tangible "bads" with Tua.

This is likely correct. But it's April, 2018 not September, 2017 and by ALL REPORTS, Tua has been Bama's best QB since maybe November and definitely December. What was true early last year year is not true now.

After 6 pages it sounds like we're all saying the same things (some more lucidly than others ). We hope the Tua we saw on the final play is the Tua we'll see this year. And we await Jalen's improvements, IF there are any.

@ 2Stater, Lots of chatter is lots better.

That's the point I was making.

No Tua after he aggravated his hand injury yesterday.

Tua in A-Day game? Maybe not so much.

Tua is out of the A Day game.
