                  • This >>>>>>>

People said "yes" to those. Just think about that. A whole bunch of people who probably make more money than most of us do set out to design a really sweet looking uniform and, again getting paid more than us, came up with that instead. And THEN, a whole bunch of other people who also get paid more than us looked at what the design team had done and said "Yes. Yes, this is a good idea". And THEN they sent them to the people at Florida, who also make more than us and also looked at those godforsaken things and said "This seems like a good way to spend our money". And THEN the Florida athletic director and coaching staff, who make many, many times what we do looked at this piece of wet dogshit and said "Yes, this is exactly what we need and we will wear this on national television and this is in no way a joke".

I mean, this wasn’t a failure of one misguided soul. Shitloads of people contributed time and money to somehow end up with these things. And they all make more money than me

                    • Auburn University has hired a law firm to investigate an allegation that a part-time academic support staffer took a final exam for at least one football player.

They hired a law firm to find a way out of the growing storm.

Look, I taught at universities for over 30 years. No way someone could take a final exam for a football player without my noticing. You notice the football players and keep up with them. And usually they are checked on by the athletic department to ensure they attend class.

And call me stupid, but I ALWAYS required a photo ID when students turned in their tests, if it was a large class. This wasn't a simple issue.

                        • It was an on-line test?

Well, anyone who thinks on-line classes are serious college-worthy education is kidding themselves.
